Students who successfully complete the course will be awarded the Diploma certified by ISOT Governing Council. Students who do not qualify in the examination conducted by ISOT will be awarded a course completion certificate only.
OPTIONAL UNIVERSITY CERTIFICATION: Students are given an option to apply for University diploma program as per the terms and conditions of the university concerned. Students must read the university related disclaimer carefully before opting for university certification. Students opting for the university should attach a university option request form.
The fee for this course is Rs. 88,000/- (Rupees Eighty Eight Thousand only). Fees mentioned here do not include cost of study materials and university exam fee (in case of university opted students only). At the time of joining the course the student has to pay Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only). The balance amount of Rs. 73,000 (Rupees Seventy Three Thousand only) has to be paid in installments as per the fees schedule. A separate fee payment schedule is attached with this form and students are liable to pay the fee installments as per the fee schedule. Absence from the class with or without leave shall not be an excuse for nonpayment of fee on due dates. Fees mentioned above are inclusive of all university fees excluding examination fee, as on date of the university prospectus (applicable to university opted students only).
Any increase in any component of the fee or other charges payable to university will be the responsibility of the student. Applicable examination fee will have to be paid by each student while registering for examination. Text books for language subjects if applicable will have to be bought by the student themselves. Students alone will be responsible for non enrollment for a course or not being able to attend any exam due to delayed payment of fees or submission of forms. Students have to make payment of fees on due dates itself to avoid complications.
Note: Fines, penalties, readmission fee, batch transfer fee, lateral entry fee, examination fee etc wherever applicable will have to be paid over and above the fees mentioned above.
* Incase of cheque payment, if a cheque towards fee gets bounced or returned an amount of Rs. 500/-(Five Hundred) along with bank charges will be levied in the case of cheque return due to insufficient fund an amount of Rs. 200/- (Two hundred) along with bank charges will be levied if cheque is returned due to technical reasons. Fees are to be paid before 5th of every month. Students will not be allowed to attend class upon non-payment of fees as per the schedule.
If a student is thus ousted from campus for more than 30 days and wishes to re enter, he/she will have to seek re admission by paying a fee of Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) as re admission fee. If this involves a batch transfer, normal batch transfer fee will also be applied.
The fee is non-refundable even if the student does not attend any classes. Even if a student chooses to pay full fees and does not attend any classes the fees are non-refundable.
ISOT will arrange for study tours, site visits to places of design and professional importance, market survey and study to understand and study about the latest materials and technologies used in the Interior Design and Fashion Design and construction arena and their prices.It is a Professional Design Course and classes will mostly consist of studio lectures, workshops and site visits.
The semester examination will be conducted by the University and no candidate will be allowed to appear for the examination unless he/she has completed his/her class room and studio days with minimum 75% percentage of attendance. The student should have submitted the required number of tutorials and studio assignments (sessional works)
To pass the University Examination the candidate must have obtained 50% marks in University examinations, internal assessments and external assessments combined prescribed for each subject.
AWARD OF CLASS:
40 to 49.99% - Pass with Third Class
50 to 59.99 % - Pass with Second Class.
60 to 69.99 % - Pass with First Class.
70 % and above - Pass with First class with distinction.
The passing standards for the written, drawing, designing, University examination papers have been given elsewhere in this registration document separately for each subject along with the course content of each subject.
An unsuccessful candidate who has passed in any of the subjects with minimum 50% in both university papers and internal & external of the total number of marks in that subject may, at his/her option be exempted from appearing in that subject at a subsequent attempt and will be declared to have passed in the whole examination when he/she has passed in the remaining subjects of the examination.
Unsuccessful candidates are marked as absent by the University. The rule is laid down by university for their reasons
Admission, classes, and examinations (internals- practical – lab – external – viva voce etc) will be as per the existing policies of the institute and will be subject to change. In the case of university opted students, university related matters are subject to changes and modifications as per the university’s decisions and based on other factors affecting the university education and will be binding on all the students. The institute will be in no way responsible for any such changes in the policies, rules and regulations of the university.
The timing of classes, admin staff, teaching staff, location of the campus, building can be changed for better administration only by the management. There will be no repeat classes for the missed portion due to late admission or if the student remains absent. It is the students responsibility to take help from teachers and classmates.
Drawing board, paper, chart paper, colors and pencil, rubber, paper, pen, etc. should be purchased by the students and are not included in the fee. The campus, faculty, internal/external exam dates, exam center and the class timing are subject to change / shift/ relocation depending on the convenience of running and the policies of the management of the institute.
Papers & drawing paper and other materials including those stated above for the classes and examinations / tests should be bought by the students The institute reserves its right to alter the subjects, class plans, time table and faculty according to the prevailing situations or on administrative grounds
There will be classes 5 days a week and each day’s class will be of 3 hours duration. The course normally will be in the morning from Monday to Friday.
Students will have classes from 10 am to 1 pm. The duration and timing of classes may change as and when the institute feels right and by giving the students one month prior notice.
The class days and timings are subject to change as per the convenience of the institute. A student enrolled for a particular batch has to complete his/her study in that batch only and inter batch transfer is not allowed normally. However in certain unavoidable cases, batch transfer is permitted with written orders of Director-Administration, and on payment of a batch transfer fee which for the time being is fixed as Rs:5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only).Parents have to attend the parents meeting whenever called for. The students should be present in the class by 9.30 in the morning, for the morning . Late comers will be allowed in the class only with the permission of the Management. Late comers beyond 30 minutes will not be permitted to enter the class.
Leave application should be submitted to the Management well in advance and in any unforeseen circumstances when a leave has to be taken without prior notice the leave letter must be submitted the very first day the student returns to the institute. Parents have to attend the Parents Meeting whenever called for. We expect the parents to visit the institution as frequently as possible and verify the academic performance, progress, conduct and character of their ward.
As an education Institute, ISOT endeavors to offer our students the best possible education/training. ISOT does not advocate or promote any university or university certifications for our courses. We believe that in professional courses like Interior Design and Fashion Design, the aptitude, talent, skill and experience are the factors that make a candidate employable. The more important factor is the institute where the candidate has undergone his/her training, then which university conducted the examination and awarded the B.Voc.
But since having a recognized university B.Voc. or diploma helps the students in obtaining attestation from the Ministry or Human Resources, Government of India, while pursuing jobs abroad we are suggesting some of the universities we are tied up or partnered with directly and indirectly. Direct or indirect partnership or arrangement with a university means we are offering their course in ISOT as per their terms and conditions as a study center of the university or through a national coordinator or collaborator appointed by the said University./p>
Students have to fill out the complaint form to raise any kind of complaint. Management and teachers will look into the matter and will come down to a suitable solution and conclusion.
If any student/parent is challenging or is unsatisfied with the quality of pedagogy or functioning of the institute in any manner then they shall appoint a panel of 3 qualified professionals at their expense to give needful suggestions. The appointed panel of professionals shall have the following qualification -
The suggestions given by the appointed professional panel will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the institute and then will be implemented according to the review report.
ISOT does not provide any software licenses and does not promote the use of pirated softwares. Students need to bring their own laptops to learn softwares.
DRESS CODE
Students should wear neat and tidy dresses. Rules of modesty, decency and decorum should be adhered to and revealing dresses shall be avoided. Students should wear identity cards while on campus and during site visits and field trips. Fine as decided from time to time will be charged from students who fail to wear identity cards as instructed.
SITE VISIT EXPENSES
Students as part of the training course need to visit work sites, design exhibitions, show rooms, etc and submit reports. The cost of transportation and other related expenses for these visits have to be borne by the students themselves. The institute will not arrange vehicles or pay for their expenses.
WORKSHOPS
As part of training various workshops will be conducted. These workshops conducted by ISOT Faculty will be free of cost to the students. However, in case of workshops conducted by well known architects / designers from the industry, the cost of such workshops are to be borne by the students.
DISCIPLINE
Students should observe strict discipline inside the institute premises. Outside the school premises also they should not indulge in any activities that may defame the name of the school. Students should not indulge in any activities that may expressly or imply amount to ragging. Students should maintain silence in classrooms, libraries and school premises.
The furniture, instruments and other properties of the school should be maintained in good order. The student who is responsible for the damage of the property of the institute will be liable to make good the amount required for the repair/replacement of the items and the same will be collected from such student/students. If a particular student could not be identified as the person responsible for such damage the whole batch will be held liable and cost and penalty will be collected from the batch.
Students should enter the class, preferably 10 minutes prior to the commencing of the class; late comers will be allowed to enter the class, only with the permission of the Management. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against habitual late comers. No student is allowed to be absent without obtaining leave of absence from the Management. Boycotting of classes, insubordination to lecturers/teachers in word or act, misbehavior to staff and management unauthorized assembling, visiting or entering the institution or its premises after consuming liquor, NDPS or any spirituous preparation and anti institute activities will be reason for the temporary/permanent dismissal of a student from the school with or without fine.
Minor offenses like loss of attendance etc are punishable with fine. In the case of disciplinary action, the decision of the Management will be final
Those students who do not secure 80% effective attendance will not be allowed to appear for the exam. The responsibility of keeping their ornaments/valuables etc is with the student. The institution will not have any responsibility if the valuables belonging to students are lost/damaged. Use of mobile phones in the school premises is strictly prohibited.
Smoking / consumption of alcohol, use of drugs are strictly prohibited. If such items are found in the custody of students or in use, such students are liable for dismissal and may invite police action also.
Any type of indiscipline, hooliganism towards teachers/other students will not be tolerated and strict disciplinary action will be taken against those students who are involved in such activities. All students are required to inform the change if any in their address and contact numbers immediately. The institution will not be responsible for any loss of information /communication due to the change in address if not informed in time. Information will be exhibited on the notice board of the institution and it is the duty of the students to verify the notice board every day. Students should not resort to gheraoed, Bandhs, Hartals, Strikes or any sort of violence inside the institute’s premises.
Political activities are strictly banned. Students shall not bring outsiders with them to the school premises without taking prior permission from the Management.
Any student inciting any other student(s) against any aspects of the institute will be subjected to disciplinary action. Any student causing any kind of financial or reputation loss to the institute will have to pay equivalent compensation.
No notice should be pasted on the notice board of the institute or the institute’s premises without permission from the Management. All students shall cooperate with the school authorities to ensure maintenance of discipline inside and outside the campus.
Bus / Train concessions: This institute does not have any facility for providing any travel concession (for example - private bus pass) for its students. Students will have to travel to and from the institute paying full fare
ISOT can upload pictures of its student’s activities, projects, events and lectures on social media and other advertising platforms for marketing purposes.
No student or anybody related to the student shall defame the institute in any manner on any digital platform. Upon doing so the concerned person will be subjected to adequate legal action.
The institute does not offer any kind of job guarantee for its students. The prospects of getting placed in a job depend solely on the ability and talent of the student.
Students and parents should strive to put in their best effort to achieve their goals. The institution can only guide and teach, but the success depends on the ability, intelligence, studiousness and hard work of the students.
It is expressly agreed that in the event of any dispute arising between the student/parent and the institution, the same shall be referred to arbitration as provided in the Arbitration Act for the time being in force and within institutes jurisdiction of civil court stands ousted.
ISOT is a brand of Redmont Institutes Pvt. Ltd. It's a private limited company and it does not fall under college’s rules and regulations. It’s an institute and not a college.
Notwithstanding any other provision of this prospectus, it is expressly understood by all students that ISOT accepts no responsibility to provide any course of instruction, program or class, residential or other services including the normal range of academic, residential and/or other services in circumstances of utility interruptions, fire, flood, strikes, work stoppages, labor disputes, war, insurrection, the operation of law or acts of God or any other cause (whether similar or dissimilar to those enumerated) which reasonably prevent their provision.
The institute reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify or change the programmes, facilities, faculty, services, venues in any manner the management decides and cannot accept legal or financial liabilities arising due to it. In the interpretation of academic regulations, the ISOT Management is the final authority.
Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained within the prospectus but it is subject to alteration without notice. The Institute will use all reasonable endeavors to deliver courses in accordance with the descriptions set out in the prospectus. The Institute, however, reserves the right to make variations to the content or methods of delivery of courses, to discontinue courses and to merge or combine courses, if such action is reasonably considered to be necessary by the Institute. If the Institute discontinues any course, it will use reasonable endeavors to provide a suitable alternative course. In the event of industrial action or other circumstances beyond the control of the institute that interferes with its ability to provide these courses or services, the Institute will undertake to minimize disruption as far as is practicable.
Throughout this application document, “you” refers to students newly admitted, readmitted or returning to ISOT.
By accepting the terms and conditions you agree that you understand that the total allotted intake capacity for this B.Voc. ID course is only 30 and you/your ward is one of the 20 such students enrolled for this B.Voc. Programme. If you/your ward discontinue(s) my/his/her studies any time during the course of the programme, i.e. any time during the 3 years that would mean that another student who could have joined the course has lost his/her chance because of you/your ward. That would also mean that you/your ward have/has caused loss of revenue to the college by discontinuing the course midway as fees receivable. Hence, you hereby undertake to makeup for the loss of revenue to the institute by paying the entire course fee ie Rs. 2,44000/- (Rupees Two Lakh Forty Four Thousand only or whatever is remaining), in the event of you/your ward discontinuing the course for whatsoever reason including medical reasons or anything else.
By accepting the terms and conditions you agree that you are completely satisfied by the institute status, amenities, faculties. You have fully understood and read everything in my sound mind and body. The counselor had told you each and every detail.
By accepting the terms and conditions you agree that you understand that in case you/your ward do(es) not comply with the above terms and conditions the management will have the full authority and right to deny you/your ward with your / his/ her Transfer Certificate and also in with holding your / his/ her certificates of previous courses like SSLC and HSSC until you pay the full fees.
